Updated 11-27-2009.

Today, I added a new set of BBCodes. For those who don't know what those are:
When you edit a post, you see options.

You will notice the upper row: B I U Quote......all the way to Font Size,
is the "Standard" row of custom codes for the editor.

The Bottom Row(s) contains the Custom Codes.

So, here's a guide for thier use:

spoiler: use spoiler especially for when you want to add an attachment, that automatically is posted to the forum.
For example... any JPEG image for some reason is auto posted INLINE... so, even tho you don't WANT all your attached Jpegs to show up IN your post... well tough they still do.

The only way around this (at this time), is to forced each jpeg INLINE (see that option just after you upload it)
then surround the whole thing with spoiler.

For example: you should see below the Image of the Custom BBCodes again.
I am using this code:
Code:
[attachment=1]CustomBBCodes.jpg[/attachment]

I can put spoiler on the attachment now... using spolier as follows:
Code:
[spoiler][attachment=1]CustomBBCodes.jpg[/attachment][/spoiler]

Attachment:
CustomBBCodes.jpg

You will notice there is no IMAGE between this line, and the CODE above... because I have used this trick to HIDE the Attachment. If you click the link, the image will appear.

Also, you can now post images and have text IMMEDIATELY to the right or the left of the image.
http://www.mechstorm.com/forum/download/file.php?mode=view&id=753img_floatleft forces
the
image
to
the
left, and TEXT will wrap to the right edge.
img_floatright forces the image to the left, and TEXT will wrap to the right edge.http://www.mechstorm.com/forum/download/file.php?mode=view&id=753

As you

can see

this is

pretty neat.

And it is something you can do yourself using the custom BBCodes.

Also, notice the SPOILER bbcode... very useful for when doing game walkthrus, or movie reviews etc...
Whatever you do... DON'T READ THIS NEXT LINE!!!!
ARGH, you don't listen!
But, now u got the idea, of the spoiler function

NOTE: spoiler may malfunction in combination with other spoilers, in the same topic. You may notice not all spoiler tags work properly. (working on it)

img_resize is very useful when you have uploaded a rather larger image.

And you want to resize it to something a little easier to see on the forum.

There are several steps to doing this for an attachment:
The first, is placing the image INLINE
then HIDE it.

Then right click the actual attachment, and get its properties... (copy the address).

Then paste the address.

Finally, around the address add the img_resize.

For example:

(PS THIS ONE WORKS!!!)
Resized Image - Click For Actual Size

Here's the code to make it all happen:
Code:
[hide=click to see full image][attachment=0]right-arrow2.gif[/attachment][/hide]
[img_resize=20x20]http://www.mechstorm.com/forum/download/file.php?mode=view&id=754[/img_resize]
