Mechstorm has several rules.

1. Flaming posts should be limited. I am not saying, you cannot ever flame anyone for a good reason. But please, keep your tone calm, without foul language. Keep your language in the public forum topics to PG-13 acceptable.

2. Posting Warez links... just don't do it. If you want to talk warez... go find another venue.

3. Discussing how to hack this or that with intent to do bad things... let me be clear -- we are here to learn how to mod the engine(s) for the good of the community. NOT so someone can gain an edge over another player.
When we talk about hacking... remember that it is for the purpose of improving the game engine, improving the mods... and not so you can cheat or win thru altering your engine.

Strictly speaking -- Mechstorm promotes the modding of the game engines... but if that modding is one sided... its going to be a problem. Our goal is to eliminate methods or reduce the chances that other players can utilize game cheats to ruin your game / mod.

4. Personal attacks, and comments -- similar to flaming, don't do it unless you REALLY want to risk getting banned.

5. Soliciting -- All soliciting thru this site MUST be approved by me. So, if you want to sell anything by posting on this site, please get my approval.
There are Exceptions for simple things like: I posted my MW4 discs on Ebay... with a link to it in your post... however, Mechstorm will NOT be responsible for your actions or your purchases from other members.
Approval of a solicitation also, does not change that we will not be responsible for the buyer or seller's actions or deeds, or goods.


6. Linking to: Porn sites, dating sites and similar spam... will generally get you a ban without warning.

7. Posting pornographic material or posting illegal content... ban.

8. Mechstorm does hope to keep its downloads free from problems. such as Trojans, viruses, malware, spyware etc... but we cannot be responsible for guaranteeing that the downloads will be free of them. IN NO EVENT WILL MECHSTORM, ITS MEMBERS, or ASSOCIATES OR ANY OTHER MIRROR SITES] OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES, CLAIMS OR COSTS WHATSOEVER WHICH YOU BELIEVE ARISE FROM DOWNLOADING ANY CONTENT FROM THIS SITE. IT SHALL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE WHATEVER STEPS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THAT THE CONTENT YOU DOWNLOAD IS FREE FROM VIRUS / TROJAN / MALWARE ETC.
YOU TAKE THE RISK FOR DOWNLOADING OR INSTALLING ANY CONTENT.

9. Mechstorm reserves the right to refuse to serve anyone for any reason.
